Where is the 30 million youll need to get Lavine?

(37 million salary-what space Im assuming we currently have).

Are y'all doing a Capela-Bogi for Lavine deal? I don't think I am. But if you're trading Hunter for Allen, thats about all thats left.

Its going to be Clint and Hunter and that is it after that.

I'm of the mindset that we shouldnt be trading every single 1st we're allowed under the Stepien forever.

Sorry, I should have added that to the original post. That's kind of what I meant.

Having five makes it easier to trade two or three of them.  Cavs traded three firsts for Mitchell originally.
Can’t figure out what they want to do with Trae.  If they don’t trade him, maybe they gave him a reality check or they traded Murray for picks so we could go after some bigger stars.

That's fair, but I'm still not doing that. We already can't tank because of the first DJM deal. You wanna push that deadline out to 2032?

Then no thanks on Lavine lol.

Jarrett Allen & Zach LaVine

Both can be reasonably had and both address key holes in the roster.

We need someone to replace the 20 ppg scoring we just lost and need someone who can replace ECF Capela interior defense.

I’m onboard with something like this. Jarrett Allen is target #1 at this point

It would have to be at least a 3 teamer:

Lavine and Allen to Hawks

Hunter to Cavs

CC to Bulls

I haven't checked our salaries so maybe we have to send just acquired Nance to a 4th team or Bulls.

Can probably salary match it, but it’ll cost picks. Idk.

But right now, we’re about to gift wrap 3 high lottery picks to SA.

Lavine and Allen make a combined 60 million

Salary matching is my point though. Bogi is the only other salary we've got lol.

CC, Dre, Nance is about $54 million. So I think we'd still remain under the tax.

Thats your perspective. Mine is Landry held firm wanting an overpay and likely almost got it. You dont win trades if you dont try… not Landrys fault Pels are not stupid. Herb would be an overpay.

You guys are so negative lol… this is fair value, makes us better by improving roster fit, and we have assets that give is flexibility.  This isnt some incredible trade but its not a bad one either.

I could just as easily say you are overly optimistic. "Fair" value is tbd.

We traded for a guy that played 17 minutes in the playoffs last year and Larry Nance.

We're praying that a team with 2 superstars completely misses the playoffs to pull value out of this deal.

To me, that is 100% TBD at best.

I think so. Dyson's on-ball defense is one of the best for a guard in the NBA. The only problem was that he was somewhat blocked behind Herb Jones and Brandon Ingram for the last two years.

We can offer a bigger role to him than what he's shown so far in NOLA now that DJ is gone.

Ehhh, Ima need to see some solid shooting from him if thats the case.

I obviously didn't get into the picks side of things, but salary wise it's very possible.

Im not positive of our current tax situation, but if we lump this but if we're starting from the point of "pre-Pels" trade, I don't think 2.6 gets us under. Could very much be wrong though lol.

Without tanking, I challenge you to find a better way out of this hell hole.

You're barking up the wrong rigid tree my man 🤣
