Hunter should be on the bench with Risacher starting. Hunter never seems to be that great on O with Trae.

This is how I envision Dre's career from now on...as a 6th man

 

He should be trying to aim for 6th man of the year for the rest of his career (with the hawks)

Sure seems like the Hawks FO has a plan and is executing said plan. Color me impressed. 

Now go upgrade the Center position and I'll be really impressed.

That means we have to deal with Ainge and he probably want 3 1st round, 3 swap and Lifetime pass for Magic City.

That's fine in a vacuum, but I don't love not getting another piece for him. This team is still missing starter level guys or high level backups if certain guys get thrust into starting. Going into the season by swapping out DJM for a rookie, Dyson, and Lance isnt nearly enough to me. 

That defense is better, but I'm not really sure I see the leap from that group that *should* have been possible this offseason.

Y'all laugh at LaVine and complain about his defense, but right now our starting 2 is the all world defender Bogdan Bogdanovic or Mr. Can't Shoot Dyson Daniels.

Unless the plan is to start Risacher at the 2 and Hunter at the 3. But that's still putting just about the entire offensive load on #11.

The added perimeter defense will also help Okongwu become one of the better centers in the NBA.

That is perfectly true and fair. I'm still a little worried about the offensive side of the plan. Especially if trae goes sideways. We've added long defenders for sure. But "limited to play finisher" Reese is the only one that has any offensive chops. 

(This really isn't a criticism. Just a note)
