Off topic but when it rains it pours.  My son had to be flown to the Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS, this morning and had emergency surgery for a twisted bowel.   They will take him back to surgery in the AM to see if there is any more dead bowel and then hopefully hook everything back up.  He’s stable but on the vent right now.  He was becoming septic before the surgery.

None are needle movers.  Maybe precious just as a big body.

There are a couple of 20 mpg level guys that could have a minor impact, but yeah, everyones gone.....

IF you trade Capela you almost have to take a center back now. Same with Hunter. The flexibility with our trades has gone kapoof.

Seriously though, if you trade Capela or Hunter how do you replace them now?

Is your wing depth a current non-shooter, a 19 year old, Matthews, and Lundy? 

Is your center depth just going to be two sub 6'10 guys, one of who is Nance, and Bruno?

Trade Capela for Norman Powell/Zubac.  Capela is expiring so gives them some flexibility.  Saves Clips money this year.

and look at the stat lines for Powell the last two years on a team with PG, Kawhi and Harden.  

They may not want to give him up but it's worth a go.

We were never going to be big players in FA as we are not a capspace team. That’s one thing I wish the local media market would understand about the last 2 offseasons.

We are limited to the SnT and trade market in terms of improvement. Which means there should be plenty of targets out there beyond the limited crop of FA’s. Bad news, it takes even more negotiating to execute those deals than just getting a player and his agent to take your money.

Edit:

We can also sign guys via Exceptions but they wouldn’t be needle movers.

I already don't like listening to Dukes and Bell, but them trying to understand anything Hawks/NBA related is unbearable.

He stopped talking as fast but belches an awful lot.  To the point I’m worried it’s excessive gas ️ or something. Brad, let out the gas baby… 

 

He kinda looks the way I remember him from a decade ago on the golf ️ course. His hair hasn’t receded too much still got a widow’s peak.

Second surgery went well.  They were able to hook everything back up.  He lost about 60% of his large intestine and 20% of his small intestine.
