Moderators Popular Post AHF Posted August 8 Moderators Popular Post Report Share Posted August 8 Good news: In the backcourt, we are either going to be starting the best defender Trae has ever had next to him or we will be starting an absolute gamer who has been highly effective in his minutes next to Trae. That combo should make for a really nice blend of talent at the 2.

ShooterSays
Bogi played well, but had a typical terrible foul in the last seconds of the game that essentially ended it.

Premium Member JayBirdHawk Posted August 9 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted August 9 Word of the Olympics 'REPACHAGE' (new for Track and Field). It’s not often that a new wrinkle is introduced into Olympic sports, especially one that can become a complete game-changer for athletes. But, for those watching track and field this year in Paris, they’re going to see just that — the introduction of repechage rounds in specific races. What is a repechage round? It’s a second chance for runners. In individual races from the 200-meter dash up to the 1,500, as well as the 110-meter and 400-meter hurdles, runners who didn’t automatically qualify out of their respective first round into the semifinals will have another shot to make the semis. In layman’s terms: It’s a mulligan.
Premium Member JeffS17 Posted August 9 Premium Member Report Share Posted August 9 Booker has been a stand out to me on this US team. He hasnt been flashy or scoring a lot but hes been playing very hard, winning basketball. Picking up guys full court, disrupting sets, excellent defense, crashing boards, etc. 1
StonedDogs
@Gray Mule knows who can and can't play on the biggest basketball stage. Hawks don't deserve a Bogi man. They don't even know how to use him.

We got a pretty seasoned unit we can put on the court if we need vets to bring some calm to a game. But yeah, we got answers on offense.

We use him well lol… Trae finds him pretty much every time he gets daylight for a shot and he gets into a lot of curls using his body because he doesnt have NBA quickness. Bogi isnt Kyle Korver, but we do use him to his strengths imo, especially when hes playing with Trae.

Yeah I think the reason we don't see 'that' Bogi often has been due to injury. 2

That and it's an 82 game NBA season. The FIBA games are over a 2 week period: 6-8 games max. So it's all out Bogi and Patty for every game.

Best total +/- during their Hawks tenure is his (493) followed by Clint (329) and OO (52). Even more impressive seeing how all three aren’t strangers to missing games. They’re all championship level BUs on an elite defensive squad. The respect shown by Team USA after the game was telling. All the histrionics may have fired them up a bit too much though sans Steph who got it cooking out the gate. Why he chose to resurrect the lamest three point celebration ever is beyond me, let alone him looking at Melo every time he did it. If you must copy a three point celebration it needs to be Ded. 1
