Feeling sorry for myself

Baseball? It's now Manfredball. Strategy-starved former national pastime that has so little integrity they'll let you keep a WS trophy even if the Commissioner is convinced you really did cheat in the post season.

Football? Did you see the Cowboys play the Saints last Sunday? I can't even imagine how bad tomorrow's Ravens game will turn out. I won't be watching.

College football? Unless you support one of the 15-ish schools' teams where their players have no interest in jumping to another team or the NFL the following season, it doesn't exist anymore. It's mercenary football... a fraudulent form of minor league baseball, except without any union agreement to keep the players in the system of their first organization more than a year at a time.

College basketball? See college football.

Pro basketball? What??? You don't know?!? Yes you do.

 

Maybe my Chicago Blackhawks turn a corner this season.

 

If not.... I suppose there's always ultimate...
