Over the last few years, we've seen the Hawks have some success collectively (a few blowout wins, buzzer beaters, beating the Cs, etc...) and individually (huge Trae performances, Vit emergence, some DJM highlights), but I really can't remember a time when the entire team looked like they were just enjoying playing basketball together AND having success doing it. 

I know it was just one preseason game.  I know it means nothing in the grand scheme.  But the WAY they played together just stood out last night.  This really could be a fun, exciting season for the first time in a long time.  Even the ECF team started out horribly and we had to fire a coach.  This just seems like it COULD be a really fun year, start to finish.  I don't know what that means record wise, but I'll take fun and exciting after the last few years.

Yes.

That was Quin Ball.  They moved the ball from side to side.  They played 0.5 basketball.  The player movement was there.  We saw wings get the ball and attack the basket.  We saw peel switches on defense to defend the PNR.  

It's early, and it may regress down the road, but this is the style of play I envisioned when the Hawks hired Quin Snyder.  

I'll also add that Ryan Schmidt is going to be a hot name on the head coaching boards in a couple of years.
