The purpose of waiving Doleac?

We are really grabbing for Cash. I don't even know if Pryz can play.

What we have told the fans for these last 29 is " We don't care".

That's alright...

But Dole is not a bad player for his contract. He runs pick and roll very well. NY is looking like big winners here.

I thought Knight told Stotts he would have at least 10 healthy bodies for practice today...with Hendu being almost worthless ...I don't think Doleac will be waived.

The Hawks have not made any decision regarding Doleac. They currently need players, including centers to play out the season so paying him to go away doesn't make much sense either.

Contrary to the AJC, we still contend that Doleac has a player option for next season, and it's unknown what releasing him would obligate the Hawks to pay, further complicating any release.

For now, Doleac is a Hawk. RealGM will be on hand for the team practice tonight and while Billy Knight will not be there, we will be asking Terry Stotts about Doleac, among other things.

After reading Knights comments, it appears he may want to make sure there is no chance of Atlanta winning too many games and hurting draft position. JT, Diaw, Jax, Sheed and Doleac is a team that could concievably win a few games..He may want to eliminate that slight chance by decimating the roster even further.
