Strengths: Wonderfully built pro ready body standing at 6-7 and weighing 230 pounds … Because of his strength he is a great finisher after contact occurs in the lane … Ball handling ability is very refined for a player his size … Add in his quick first step and he is a threat to take defenders off the dribble … Extremely athletic leaper capable of impressive forays to the basket … Has tremendously quick hands that enable him to disrupt passing lanes … Great rebounder for his size who understands how to use his body and athleticism under the glass … Explosive scorer who can take over a game with the best of them … Physically he has all the tools needed to be an excellent on the ball defender with his swift hands, long arms, and quick lateral movement … Versatile player who can play the small forward and shooting guard slots … Most importantly he can defend these positions without problems … Uses his body control to make some impressive finishes around the basket … Creative scorer who uses a multitude of floaters and reverses to score … Work ethic has been impressive as he has added quite a bit to his game since last year … Does a great job of drawing fouls from opposing defenders … Benefits from Junior college players having an improved draft record thanks to Kedrick Brown and Qyntel Woods …

Weaknesses: Defensively he doesn’t play with much intensity and can look as though he is disinterested … Level of competition while not bad still isn’t perceived as strong … Can be a little inconsistent at times when shooting from mid-range … Will need to become better at moving without the ball … Shows passing ability but lacks the unselfishness to consistently distribute … Shot selection isn’t the greatest at times as it can be … Defensive footwork should be cleaned up as he has relied on his athletic gifts up to this point … Will need to tweak the mechanics in his shooting form … Must prove to teams that he isn’t the attitude problem some have labeled him in the media … While he has three point range he is prone to streakiness … Still learning the game so his court awareness is a work in progress … would have benefitted greatly from a year in Division 1 (Lousiville).
