He would have been nice to have but at this point, given what happened with the draft, he is not needed.

With Nash leaving I think it is a great move. $5m per could end up being cheap for this guy. At times he was sensational at the end of last year, and he covers both guard positions. I think he will start at PG next year to give Harris some time.

Daniels can defently become the starting point guard, and he will most likely become that next season.

Mixed feelings abou the Mavs right now, because my family are big Maverick fans. They allow Steve Nash to walk, but give Daniels some nice change.
