Well I dont know now about us signing Damp. Here is from a league source, taken from the New York Daily News.

So now the New York is offering Kurt Thomas, that might actually get it done between the Warriors and Knicks.

Whats this about Bob Sura, did he mean Warriors signing Sura or Atlanta?

From what I understand it sounded that we are planning to re-sign Sura and I think is an excellent decision.

The league sources are just as wrong as everybody else. NYDAILY just speculate... they don't have true "league sources".

The thing that stands out is this:

With Murphy, Biedrins, Uncle Cliffy, and even Dale Davis.. Why would GS want another PF, especially one signed for 2-3 more years. WHy not just keep Cardinal?

That's what I think of Thomas...

NY writers swear that people want their players and if you believe them, they would have:

Marbury, Crawford, Thomas, J Williams, & Damp...

and only would have given up Deke, Thomas, Anderson, and Harrington

Diesel is right, Golden State has enough power forwards. Heck, if they made that trade I would happily take Murphy off their hands. Even Biedrins supposed looked good in summer league action.
