Admin
What play did Ivey make that was better than that strip by Walker when we were down big late in the 4th with Ward on the break? That played turned the momentum for us.....not taking anything away from Ivey, he played very well....but I have to give the game ball to Walker and the play of the game to him as well
Traceman
GREAT comeback win! P Diddy, 'Toine, Big Al, Chill and Ivey were ALL terrific in the 2nd half! How about closing the game on a 17-2 run and holding HOU scoreless for the last 5 minutes plus? Now THAT is how you play ball! Go Hawks!
kudzu23
It was Ivey that made the strip!
Admin
No it wasnt, it was Walker. Right after the play Walker pumped his fist and got the team going.
BritishKnights
Ivey stole the ball and took the ball down and layed it in to give the hawks the first lead of the night, that was the play of the game
Plainview1981
Good effort tonight. Walker/Peja and Ivey have really played well so far early in the season... It was a decent game for Childress also... Houston is in a world of trouble if Yao gets 26 and 21 for Tmac and they still lose to the Hawks... Not taking anything away from the Hawks effort....But we all know the Rockets are supposed to be the better team.
Admin
Ahh thats right Ivey did make that play, but we were already in the lead by 1 at that point. I think Walkers was bigger because we were down by 11 at the time or something like that
Employee8
DECENT game, Hotlanta? CHILDRESS WAS 6-6!!!! I'd call that OUTSTANDING.
pathway23
I thought it was Childress' block on Juwan Howard for the play of the game
BritishKnights
no actually the hawks were down by one when ivey made the steal and scored and that gave the hawks a one point lead
Traceman
Walker's play was definitely the play of the game until Ivey made his play and if Walker had not made his play, there likely would have been no play for Ivey to make. Lets just say that both plays were HUGE in the win. As for the most exciting play of the game, it had to be Chill's dunk right in Yao's grill. I LOVED it! Employee8
I agree. Who cares who had the play of the game?? The bottom line is WE WON and that's all that matters. GO HAWKS!!!!!!
