Packfill
If we get Swift it probably means Walker is gone, so he can start at power forward while Smoove matures.
Premium Member Diesel Posted December 2, 2004 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted December 2, 2004 I think that you are right. Centers are at a Premium. BK likes Swift. I think we make a move to get him. I think BK likes Walker too. It's a versatility thing. I don't know about Harrington. Honestly, Harrington may be trade bait. Think about it. In the offseason, Harrington will have more trade worth than Walker. I think we might keep Walker and trade off Harrington. Check out this scenerio.... End of the season, we trade Harrington to the Wiz for K Brown. Why would Washington do that? Well, Jamison/Thomas/Heywood has made the need for Brown nil. Harrington is a guy that they can plug in at the three that will improve their offense. Plus, he'd be in the last year of his contract so he'd play harder and could be used to trade off some of their war horses at the end of the season. We pick up Swift/Walker. Our lineup has become: KBrown/Swift/Walker/Chillz/Paul (Draft)... I know that Walker is not a Sf. However, Walker passes. Walker can hit the outside SHot. Walker is 6'9. With our squad, we would have a lot of tall guys..... What SF could stop Walker in the Low Post? When we need defense, We come off the bench with Diaw/Ivey. When we need Offense, we bring Drobs off the bench. We already have size.... But if we needed more... Drobs/Brown/Walker/Chills/Ivey...

jezmund
Well Jason Terry got a lot of steals too. Wouldn't consider him a good defensive player.
