Felton-the only reason why North Carolina is where they are. They lost their first game to some unranked team. Guess who didn't play.

McCants-If he has his head together we better, since there aren't that many shooters that are as big as him that can take the physical beathings in the NBA.

Gerald Green-If he is anywhere as good to McGrady, we better pick him

Louis Williams-He is as good as he is hyped. He played his best game on ESPN2. He didn't go wild from the three. He wasn' trying to create when there was nothing there, and does have the hops to go with it.

Guillermo Diaz- Louis Williams with two years of ACC basketball.

Andray Blatche- A less athletic Dwight Howard, but with better handles and a better shot. His clips

Salim Stoudamire- He is so cheap why not

Sean Banks- same story as Salim

Jawad Williams- a good shooter, good leaper, again another cheap pick

Will Bynum- we could probably get him with our San Antonio pick, Whenever the game is on the line Jarrett just seems to disappear behind the 5-11 leaper.

It doesn't matter how much talent you have if you don't have someone who can bring all of that talent together it is the olympics all over again. NC lost to Santa Clara for god's sake The only reason I didn't include Reddick, because he probalbly isn't coming out this year if he does I say pick him. As far as Paul goes, I still don't think he is mature enough. He is always getting in scuffles. It is good that he doesn't back down, but who needs a shorter Gary Payton. As far as Bogut goes, I can't tell since they have only played two maybe three teams with good bigmen, so how can I tell. Taft does very well, considering he only averages 26 min, but he is very inconsistent.

I've had the good fortune to watch Reddick quite a bit live, and I have to say that I am impressed with his ability to hit a J with a hand in his face. I think his ability translates very well to the pro level.

He has driven inside more this year, and he's quicker and more athletic than people think. I saw him take it to the rack against Schenser several times today. That said, I don't think he has quite the strength to consistently score inside in the NBA. I think he'll be a perimeter player, but that's OK.

The thing I like most about Reddick is that he plays with a lot of fire and tends to play even better when the game is on the line. The game against Wake was a prime example. He hit a couple of huge threes under pressure.

I'm going to do something unconventional and compare Reddick to a player who isn't white (normally all white ballers get compared to freakin' Tom Chambers). I think he's most like Rashard Lewis, though he's not as tall and not as athletic. He makes up for that with better range on his jump shot, better ability to hit it under pressure, and more fire in his belly and defensive tenacity.

I'm going to agree with Weez. Reddick will probably go in the teens (though I don't believe for a minute that he'll slip into the twenties). He probably won't come out this year either. However, when he does come out next year, he'll go to a team that's already pretty good (15th selection) and he might be the guy who makes them into a contender.

I agree 100% with Jsmithfan, Felton is definately the #1 player we need to get with our pick. He is so good on the fast break, and he would have a field day with Smoove, Harrington, possibly Swift and Dalembert. Plus his shot has gotten much better this year, and he is shooting about 45%. He is also about 6 feet and is a lot more built than Paul, which means he won't get posted up all the time like Paul will. His pg ability is just great, he always gets the ball to the open man, and it would just make our whole team so much better..

Fleton is great but if I had the choice, I would take Paul over Felton. Yes Paul is on the small side but so few point guards these days do anything other than shoot from the outside or seek ro drive and score or drive and past. There are a few that will attempt to post up a smaller player but those are the exceptions.

Paul reminds me of Kevin Johnson.

As for Redick, I think he has a chance to make it in the NBA but I do not think he gets picked in the teens when he does come out, hust too much question about his size and athleticism. Not sure Rashard Lewis is the right comparison either, he is more Alan Houston, Casey Jacobson, Danny Ainge type.

I think an underappreciated talent is Luther Head. This guy can shoot, can lead, is atheletic...

Also, two other guys that go no love...

Wayne Simien... who is probably the best big man in the draft.

Julius Hodge... While not right for the Hawks, I think this guy will be a player on the next level.

If a woman asked me that . . . I digress.

I think those are all guys who could be second round finds. Simien in particular has first round talent and production - but second round medical history and height. Guys like Head and Daniel Ewing are too small to be shooting guards but have demonstrated at least a modicum of ability to play the point ala Gilbert Arenas.

This draft is going to be soooo deep, that whomever we pick I feel will be able to contribute IMMEDIATELY on this team. smile.gif

I think any of those guys could be good but there is absolutely no guarantee that they will be even able to make a team. So yes there are draftable prospects, but immediate help is not a given.

Well ONCE WE GET Chris Paul(considering we don't get hosed in the Draft), I think that we can afford to take a chance on ANYONE(if Bogut is still out there, I say we grab him) and immediate help may not be a given but you'd better believe that they WILL get PT on this team instead of Redshirting the entire rookie season....

Reddick will be only a 3 point specialist..a good one ala Kerr but that's all he'll be. I'd take him in the 2nd round because you know he'd make the team..

Paul's size scares me but he's got serious game. Haven't seen many UNC games this year. Is Felton good because of the talent around him or can he ball.

I'm hearing alot about this Utah center. His picture makes him look goofy. CAn he really be a lottery pick. If so, he'd be my first choice. Because big men are always the hardest to find (oddly there's some free agent big men out there too). Imagine if we drafted Bogut AND signed say Kwame/Curry. Big men galore.

drafting Will Bynum is a waste of a pick no matter what pick. He's basically Tim Pickett (my fav from FSU last year) but not quite as good and even shorter. He's got better quicks but no way I draft that short of a sg. You thought Terry woulda been a short 2guard..
