Nicholasp27
haha@latrell hope that was a joke... i say hughes or johnson...allen makes too much and is too old...but if we get him i'll be ecstatic... chill is best at sf like marion smoove will be a pf in the future we need bogut we need another 1st for a pg we need hughes or johnson or redd or ray ray we could use swift as a backup pf/c at 8mil/year
Lascar78
I voted Korver but almost voted Joe Johnson. Clearly Allen is the best, just not sure that he has the desire to win, and that's something I need out of my franchise player. We need a shooter. Korver is pure. Johnson is more streaky, but does alot more than just shoot. It's a tough question
Nicholasp27
i'd love korver but don't see any way of getting him from philly...unless we paid johnson or hughes kinda money to korver...pure shooters don't usually get that much, but korver does have a knack for hitting them with a hand in face, so he may be worth it...but will he be our starting sg? Premium Member Diesel Posted February 23, 2005 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted February 23, 2005 When I posted this it was with the hope that you guys would consider Chemistry, Finance, and feasibility as well as need.... Sure Allen is the best SG, but how feasible? Like if I ask if we should trade for Webber? Sure, he's a very good PF, but 2 more yrs at 40 million... CBAreject
how to spell 'guard'. That one will lead us to the promised land.
Lascar78
ok, I didn't take it that way. I didn't see the " who should we go after part". I was just saying who I'd like on the team for his price.

TheDude
ray allen is too old for our rebuilding.
sick_five
I voted Hughes for his all around game, and the fact that he may come at a lower price than some of those other guys. ATL also probably has a better chance of acquiring his services than most of those other guys. In reality, I would be happy with almost anyone on that list. TheRedStripes
I voted for Joe Johnson, beaause i like his size at the 2 guard spot..6'7" and he is still relatively young, not to mention this season he is shooting at about a 47% clip from 3 point range, i dont know if id call that streaky
mdawg
Ray Allen is 29 years old. He's not in a wheelchair. Get off the age thing. A 30 year old Allen is better than Johnson, Redd, Korver(are you serious?) or Hughes at any age.
