That was posted on the Celts board on RealGM, supposedly Chad Ford said this was going to happen and was a part of the deal. Maybe we will do this so that no matter what we wont blow the top pick like we did last year after the trades.

according to the talking heads on the Atl's local sports talk shows. I tend to agree and I doubt that any of the three players we acquired will play one game for us. I suspect all three will be waived. This is essentially a AW for Boston's (or LA's) 2005 first round pick. IMO, it is still a good deal for us because we get two 1st rounders in 2005 and clear up immediate playing time for the two Joshs at their natural positions.

Exactly....At first I thought this was a terrible trade, but then I found out we received a 1st round pick and immediately smiled. Lets face it, that is all we wanted anyway was another pick in the 1st round to get our PG.

I think we will cut all of these guys. They will probably not where a Hawks uniform and all of their contracts will be off the books at the end of the year. Also, the Chillz and Smooth will get a lot more playing time, shots and opportunities to grow as basketball players. Walker was solid but this was a good move.
