Admin
I really feel genuinely sad that he is gone because he is exactly the type of team player that we should want. He wanted to be here, liked being here, and publicly stated such many times. However, we did what was best for us and for him and you have to respect Knight for that. I hope that Walker does great back in Boston, but I will miss seeing him out there busting his ass for us. I wont miss him taking crazy 3's at the worst times or turning the ball over or missing FT's, but I will miss the character of the man.
tmac13
Agreed, at 1st I could have cared less they we got him, but his hustle, warrior like attitude, and his helping our young guys made me a Walker fan.He even took his trade with class, and that is rare in the NBA these days. JTFan31
Ditto. Walker did everything Woody asked for and he came to play night in and night out. The man was as consistent as we have seen in a Hawks uni for a while. He played with alot of emotion and desire. I wouldn't mind at all if we can sign him in the offseason, but I seriously doubt that will happen.
sick_five
One thing is for sure... he has shown class all season, a tough one at that. And he didn't stop even after he was traded.
