Thoughts on Marvin Williams from tonight?

I didnt get to see hardly any of the UNC game, but from his stat line he looked to have had a pretty good overall game. One thing that I truly love about his game is that he is an excellent FT shooter, which most of the superstar players in the NBA also are (Kobe, McGrady, Vince, Jordan). I believe that Williams has that type of potential.

So, anyone who saw the game tonight have thoughts on it?

he was alright...but he never jumped out at me...i really forgot he was there..but he did do all the littel things and had a solid game...if it weren't for our needs and our glut at forward, i'd like to take him...but...

I didn't see this game, but I saw him when he scored 20 and grabbed 15 rebounds against Iowa State. North Carolina has a lot of potential NBA players on that team, so Marvin doesn't get to be in the lime light as much as his talent suggests. He's very long and athletic though. He's got to be 6'10" with super long arms. He's very explosive around the basket and has very good shooting ability out ot 20 feet.

I agree, he didn't really stand out tonight. But he's a very talented player, and he would warrant consideration with the #1 pick if he declares for the draft. He's very versatile. But I'd like to see him stay at UNC at least one more year.
