Just heard while waiting in traffic.

2) Hawks-- Marvin Williams

3) Blazers-- Martell Webster

4) Hornets-- Chris Paul

5) Bobcats-- Deron Williams

I can't believe Webster so there must be something up with the Blazers who love high school kids and must draft one each year.

Now I didn't hear the team on Webster so it could have been the Lakers. The point was why Webster at 3, when no one as spoken about him there. If that is the case, 5 and 13 for Deron and Sean May would be nice or that Bynam kid at 13.

well the blazers really are in a peculiar position. If the two best players available are clearly better than the rest, and both play a position that the blazers thought they fulfilled last year, what would you do? It's either give telfair the finger, trade the pick, or pick Green/Webster. It's not that far fetched.

It seems like Paul's nut punching would fit in in portland...

Isn't Portland in exactly the same position as the Hawks? Either they take a player who duplicates something they already have (i.e. a point guard) or take a player that fills a need but may not be ranked as highly.

At least for the Hawks they are deciding between guys who are consistently considered the the top 4 picks in the draft, whereas Portland is all over the place.

Should Portland just take a point guard and deal with the consequences later?
