Seattle SuperSonics

•What it'll take to sign him: $12 million-$14 million a year.

Joe Johnson

Phoenix Suns

•What he does: Great shooter and a tough defender; can play all three perimeter positions.

•Who's interested: Suns, Charlotte Bobcats, Cavaliers, Clippers, Lakers.

•What it'll take to sign him: $7 million-$10 million; because he's a restricted free agent, the Suns can match any offer.

•Who's interested: Bucks, Atlanta Hawks, Bobcats, Cavaliers, New Orleans Hornets.

Tyson Chandler

Chicago Bulls

Samuel Dalembert

Philadelphia 76ers

•What he does: Athletic shot blocker, could be the next Ben Wallace.

•Who's interested: 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks, Suns.

•What it'll take to sign him: $4 million-$6 million; another restricted free agent, so 76ers may match any offer.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas

•Who's interested: Clippers, Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves.

Eddy Curry

Chicago Bulls

•What he does: Solid low-post scorer, but not much of a rebounder for his size.

•Who's interested: Bulls, Hawks, Clippers, Sonics.

Stromile Swift

This is either their opinion or what was considered before the draft. Vlad's 3 point shooting is nice but he is more a 3 then 4 too, definietly not a need.

Simmons is a really good player but he is a sf too who can play sg. If we go after someone who plays a sg then we need a real sg like JJ or Hughes not someone who is forced to play the position.

I can guarentee that we are interested in Dalembert.

I really hope we don't go after Curry. He is the one big name free agent I don't wnat us to consider. He is way overrated and will not help us since he can only score. We need a rebounder.

...when ESPN did their report on FA and "who interested". They didn't think we'd be interested in KMart or Dampier despite our huge amount of cap space.

The Hawks should be listed for just about every player on that list just based on the amount of caproom we have. No thanks to SAR, but everybody else might get a look.

We have enough cash to sign 3 big FA's. We won't do it, and I don't think we should, but we have that much money.

If they think we aren't interested in Dalembert and Chandler, they're just silly. I think it's a lot less likely that we're interested in Curry!

USAtoday does what most sources do. They say, "Oh, it's the Hawks. They'll be interested in suck players like Curry and Kwame Brown, seeing as how they suck!"

Also, I think Redd is the least likely guard to wind up here. Joe Johnson and Hughes are much more likely based on their ability to handle the ball. I think we'll miss out on all 3, but just saying who makes more sense.

I would almost be willing to lay money on the table that if Curry gets the clean bill of health that we trade Al for him. He is still young, is pretty much unstoppable in the post when he really tries, and he is huge. He is also far from perfect, but we dont need a perfect C with our other big 3. I think that when you have 3 other guys who either are or probably will be (Marvin) very good rebounders for their position that you can get away without the traditional big time rebounding C. The important thing is that there isnt a player in the league that could stop Curry when he wanted to score.

Trading them Al allows the Bulls to move Chandler to C and gives them a very good compliment at the PF spot in Al.

This just seems like the perfect deal to me. Seems very much like what we did last year with Jax for Al with both teams getting good players who fit their needs better.

This would allow us to go hard after Joe Johnson if we are really interested in him to play the point for us.

We need someone that can defend and rebound, which Curry doesn't do.

I'm not concerned with getting a center that is an offensive force in the post.

The Hawks would be much better off by targeting Magliore.

Curry played 29 minutes per game and average 5.4 rebounds and 0.9 blocked shots per game. That's pathetic!!

I would not be, in fact I expect BK to put an offer on the table for him. Justs sounds like Curry needs an attitude adjustment. If we make an offer to Kwam, I would think Curry will receive an offer also. Hopefully, when it is all said and done, we land a solid man to plug up the middle in FAcy.

I love their expected salaries:

lol

I really expect Sammy to sign for $4 million a year, don't you? That's realistic.

As you probably know, I think 6 is unrealistic. I posted earlier that I think it will take 10 to sign Dalembert. He is just too good at too early an age to get much less.

If you look at what Foyle and Dampier got last year, you have to say 10 is commensurate for Dalembert. Philly misses the playoffs without him.

thats a slap in the face considering what bigs recieved last year. I expect BK to come strong when he makes an offer, it will not be for 4 million a year, Didn't we just drop Drob for 3 million? what a joke.
