If we trade Al

If we trade Al for Curry or another center, who are we going to play at the 4? I know we have speculated that Smoove would eventually play the 4, with Marvin at the 3..However, I don't think Marvin is going to be close to starter material for awhile..That means we have a hole at the 3 or 4..If we get a center like Curry, who is mostly offensive minded, do we go after a Reggie Evans or a Eddie Griffin? If we end up with Steven Hunter or Zaza at center, we might need more offense out of the 4..Thoughts?

Griffin currently has a contract offer from Minnesota that is worth $5 million per season. I don't know if he is an option now.

I believe that the full amount of the deal totals 5 million...I believe it's a 2 or 3 year deal for 5 mil. Def. not 5 mil per season.

The only guy I would trade (that we have mentioned) Al for is Magloire. Simply because Magloire represents defense and rebounds.

Aside from Al, there are other guys who we can trade and maybe get somebody else...

Maybe Delk can get us somebody like Wilcox... Especially if LAC feels that they will lose Jaric...

Wilcox is duplicative of Al. Despite his athleticism, Wilcox has not shown that he can be any more of a rebounder or defensive presence then Al. I would rather keep Al.
