  1. I’m not going to name any names, but someone around here was trying to coin “French Vanilla” for his nickname. On an unrelated note, if he keeps up his play like this one game, I’m going to have to look up Crow Bourguignon or Crow Bouillabaisse recipes.
  2. I think it will be something like these scenarios. Start the year with: Trae, Bogi or DD, Dre, JJ, Cap — I suspect Quin will want to lean on his vets more in the beginning. DD will need to show positive consistency all preseason and/or Bogi not being 100% for him to start at the beginning of the year. But who I’d like to see is: Trae, DD, ZR, JJ, OO — and I think that is likely what will happen by mid season or by the end of the year I like keeping Trae + DD together and Kobe + Bogi together. That’s just good balance. Dre is better off the bench, so if ZR can take the starting spot from him, all the better.
  3. Pacers and Hawks are just a really good matchup for each other. Fun game.
  4. Holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
  5. You should send it to @shakes It’s got to be getting hard to find bucket hats these days.
  6. That’s an average of over one million per game!
  7. this is how it should be. I think by the end of the season we may see this, but I bet they start the season: Trae Bogi (but I hope DD gets to start early on) Dre JJ CC (but I hope OO) Quin seems like a guy who wants to see if the players can prove they should start before automatically giving them the starting position.
  8. If Cam is able to grow to 6’14”, then anything’s possible.
  9. I’m optimistic that pieces will fit better, but to me these new players are floor raisers, not ceiling raisers. I think this is a 36-40 win team, so I’ll split the difference and guess 38-44 record. Our chances of getting enough wins to skip past the play-in spots with this roster will come in a year or two from young player growth. I think they’ll need to pull off a trade using some combo of CC, OO, Bogi, and/or Dre to bring in a bigger needle mover to do anything serious this season.
  10. I expect 4-6 to start the season. Ws most likely coming from Nets, Hornets, 1 Wiz game, and Pistons. This is also about what I would guess. It’s very unlikely we’ll be over .500. Jalen and Trae will be good, but I think our C rotation will hurt us, French Vanilla will take a couple seasons to become the RZA, DD will be better than he was last year, but not take as big of a leap offensively that we need to reach the next level. for health with Bogi, Kobe, Dre, JJ, OO, MoG… We won’t sniff past the first round without a full squad hitting on all cylinders. In a year or two after growing together this team could make some noise, but not much this year as things stand.
  11. I call BS. Zeller’s doesn’t have Hawks DNA, he’s not “DeBarge” enough.
  12. Hawks looking to bring in Avramovic to play alongside Bogie, to clear a path for Jokic to demand a trade to Atlanta. Genius moves.
